Purim Pesach Tisha B'Av Sukkot RoshChodesh

Let me ask you something.  What do you know about the history of Sukkot? How about the future of Sukkot? Who celebrates Sukkot? Who will celebrate Sukkot in the future?

Let's get some background first from the Tanakh in the book of Z'kharyah chapters twelve, thirteen and fourteen.

"There will come a day when Yerushalayim will be a heavy stone for all the peoples.

All who try to lift it will hurt themselves.

All nations of the earth will come against Yerushalayim.

Adonai will defend those living in Yerushalayim."

Adonai said.

"When that day comes,  I will seek to destroy all the nations attacking Yerushalayim.
I will pour out on the house of David, and on those living in Yerushalayim, the spirit of grace and prayer.
They will look to  me whom they pierced
*
They shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only   son.
*
They will be in bitterness on his behalf like the bitterness for a firstborn son"

* Interesting..........Adonai is speaking and he says, "
They will look to  me  whom they pierced......... They shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son."

"When that day comes, a spring will be opened up for the house of David and the people living in Yerushalayim to cleanse them from sin and impurity."

*Interesting............that observing Yom Kippur would not cleanse them from sin and impurity.

"On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which lies to the east of Yerushalayim, and the Mount of Olives will be split in half from east to west, to make a huge valley, half of the mountain will move toward the north and half of it toward the south."
*So, what do you think? Recognize Yeshua as your Jewish Messiah now or later? Your choice! Okay, back to
   Sukkot! We haven't forgotten!

"Finally everyone remaining from all the goyim that come to attack Yerushalayim will go up every year to worship the king, Adonai Tzva'ot, and to keep the festival of Sukkot."

*Not everyone from every nation will go against Yerushalayim. Those Goyim that accept the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in a real way will make him their G-d.  They also will understand that he is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. They will keep the commandments in his Torah and celebrate Sukkot.
