Here you will find my own notes for the book that will one day (G-d willing) be published. I will be sharing the scriptures I am finding and categorizing.

These are personal notes, but perhaps they will teach you something! Since my goal, G-d willing, is to add to this area continually, it may be a good idea to put this page in your favorites if you are interested in this topic. You can be sure of one thing, there was no teaching about these scriptures in Hebrew School or Sunday school at my schul. I am sure it was just an oversight, as was not teaching about Isaiah chapter 53, or Proverbs chapter 30, verse 4.

This subject of spirit is one that many will tip toe into with some fear.  Others will run in.

We are going to be quoting the Jewish Holy Scriptures and making commentary, not using our own conjecture.

Some will find that the subject of spirits will enhance their life. Those who have appropriated Yeshua's salvation know that in his name they have authority over all the power of any evil spirits.  They can enter this study to learn what is fact and what is fiction.  Just because something comes from behind a bimah, does not mean it is fact.  Just because something is widely taught doesn't mean it is fact. 

My favorite evidence of mass ignorance, lack of preparation, and irresponsibility is the way the "name" Jehovah" has crept into the Christian community as the HEBREW name for G-d.  Any beginning Hebrew student knows there is no "J" sound in Hebrew!   You will not find conjecture and wild imaginations in our study on spirits.   

Since G-d is a spirit we are studying his attributes.  The study becomes a deep one as we realize that our Holy Scriptures teach us that a spirit created man and the earth, and has given us the laws for us to live by for success in this physical life.

This should give us great peace when we realize that it will be in that spirit's presence and dimension when our spirit departs from our body.
