Do you know who created a new religion called Christianity? It certainly was not Yeshua or his Jewish followers!
When Yeshua healed a leper, did he tell him to go light a candle in the church?
No! He said, "See that you tell no one, but as a testimony to the people, go let the cohen examine you and offer the sacrifice that Moshe commanded."
When Yeshua was talking to a large crowd did he say, "Forget what your Jewish leaders are telling you to do, drop all of the Jewish laws and take on the Goyim ones?"
No! He said, "The Torah teachers and P'rushim sit in the seat of Moshe, so whatever they tell you, take care to do it!"
One day a question came up about life after death. Did Yeshua give them an answer that would be considered Christian today?
No! He said, "Isn't this the reason that you go astray? Because you are ignorant of both the Tanakh and the power of G-d? For when people rise from the dead neither men nor women marry, they are like angels in heaven. And as for the dead being raised, haven't you read in the book of Moshe, in the passage about the burning bush, how G-d said to him, "I am the G-d of Avraham, The G-d of Yitz'chak and the G-d of Ya'akov?"
No Yeshua did not start a different religion!
How about his Jewish followers?
It certainly wasn't Rabbi Shaul who is sometimes referred to as Paul or Saul.
He actually took a vow in the temple to show those confused about his Jewishness that he still kept the Jewish customs and traditions.
It certainly wasn't one of Yeshua's first Jewish follower, Andrew, who told his brother Simon, "We have found the Moshiach".
Neither was it Philip, another one of Yeshua's first Jewish followers, who told his own brother, "We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote, Yeshua of Nazareth, son of Joseph."
If you really want to know who started another religion called Christianity, I suggest you do a little research about the Goyim believers in Yeshua at the time of the Bar Kokba revolt and also spend a little time researching the Goyim ruler of the Roman empire named Constantine!
There you will find your answers to why we believe Yeshua is the Jewish Moshiach and still keep our Jewish laws and traditions instead of the Christian ones.
Isn't it time you should ask the God of Avraham, Yitzhak and Ya'akov if Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel!
