The Shema. It is our life, our heritage,
and our heart. Hearing the
words, “the Shema” brings an identity flash
across
our hearts.
The
last part of this affirmation, begins with JPS Deuteronomy 6:5, And
thou shalt love the LORD thy G-d
with all thy heart

So, we are to love the Lord our G-d, with all of our mind, thinking, inner being and activity. These are convicting words to a heart that has a real hunger to please G-d.
It is has been said that the definition of “fanatic” when used to describe another believer is “someone who loves G-d more than you do”.
A
person described as a "fanatic" is typically a person with a lifestyle of
nonconformity. They are carefree
about
what man, women, or child thinks about
them. They have a genuine, personal relationship with G-d.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear, ha'r>yI yir'ah, fear, terror, of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and discipline.Psalm 101:1-4 JPS Psalm 101:1 A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and justice; unto Thee, O LORD, will I sing praises. 2 I will give heed unto the way of integrity; Oh when wilt Thou come unto me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart. 3 I will set no base thing before mine eyes; I hate the doing of things crooked; it shall not cleave unto me. 4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil thing.
Recently we came out of the dark ages and got a satellite dish. Since we work day and night, we don't sit down to relax until evening. We have 5 religious channels, but it is not possible to relate to or to receive from every preacher, teacher, or evangelist.
Unfortunately, at ten or eleven o'clock at night, just about everything on television is filled with violence, sex or cursing.
We don't have to make a choice of either listening to religious channels with screaming or off the wall doctrine. We don't have to lose our integrity with G-d and our own souls by entertaining our flesh with perversion of every kind.
We have a video and DVD recorder, plus I bet G-d would give us the peace to take a break earlier when programming is acceptable.
We are his and we choose to walk and sit within our home in the integrity of our hearts and to set no base thing before our eyes.
G-d has give us a standard in his Torah which does not include using his name in vane, killing, adultery, etc.
JPS Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and discipline.
JPS Deuteronomy 6:5 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Yeshua said he would rather us be hot or cold rather than lukewarm.
The word hypocrite is related to acting. When you are around believers and non-believers are you putting on an act?
Then take your last bow and allow the curtains to close on your hypocrisy. Say no to perverse entertainment. Make it a commitment and a future lifestyle.
G-d sees, G-d listens, and the word tells us that G-d laughs, and he also weeps.
Make him a proud father as you escape the temptation of the flesh with the same spirit that raised Yeshua from the dead if indeed that spirit does live in you.
