1 lb. chicken livers

4 hard boiled eggs

1 medium onion

1-2 tbsp. chicken fat

gribennes (chicken fat cracklings)

Salt & pepper to taste

Salt livers with coarse salt and broil until cooked but not hard. Using a meat grinder, grind livers, eggs, onions and gribbenes together. Salt and pepper to taste and then mix in chicken fat until all ingredients are thoroughly blended. Serve with crackers or party rye.
