Fruit Cake

1/2 cup brown sugar 
3/4 cup sifted flour 
1/2 tsp baking powder 
2 eggs 
1 cup dried fruit 
1 cup mixed nuts: 

Mix all ingredients together.
Put in a greased loaf pan. 
Bake at 350 degrees in a preheated
oven until brown.
Stick a toothpick in the center to check if the
cake is done.
If it comes out clean, you can let
it cool, then enjoy! 

Waldorf Salad 

4 apples, chopped fine 
3 ribs celery, chopped fine
1/4 cup raisins 
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup mayonnaise 

Apple Crisp 

 4 cups sliced apples 
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup water

Topping:
1/3 cup melted margarine
1 cup instant oatmeal
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, white sugar, and flour. Put into a 9 inch pie pan. Sprinkle with the lemon juice and water. Combine topping ingredients and mix well. Sprinkle on top of apples. Pat down slightly. Bake 45 minutes, or until apples are tender. Serves six
